ONYX

Centered around the Onyx Collection, originally designed by Morales for Please, a choreographic work by Angelica Stiskin that premiered at MMC, the project evolved beyond costume design into a fully realized visual environment shaped through silhouette, texture, movement, and atmosphere. Drawing inspiration from transformation and the sculptural qualities of the moving body, Morales’ art direction uses layered monochromatic garments and cinematic composition to examine how wearable design can shape narrative and emotional experience on screen.
